What we faced
Lost among other brands. Buying anything for your home online often comes down to one question: does this feel right for my place? Copenhagen Home Design's previous imagery showed the quality of their products well, but failed to go beyond the problem they solve, to the people behind them, the desire for everyday luxury and the world the products belong in. Most of the website didn't focus on their core offerings, leaving Chr. Jørgensen, their in-house brand of knobs and handles, lost among the other brands on the site. The goal became to give Chr. Jørgensen a world to live in, and a library of media that gave the brand a stronger presence on their site, then to let that carry the visual identity for the Copenhagen Home Design webshop.

Home jewellery
We built everything around one idea: knobs and handles are the jewellery of a kitchen, as
much a design decision as the countertop and the cabinets. Then we created the scenes
that had the structure, personality and aesthetic that supported that idea.
We found a house with the kind of kitchen their customers dream of, with marble surfaces,
Chr. Jørgensen knobs and custom-built wood cabinets, and highlighted the Chr. Jørgensen
part of the design. Then we placed the people who put their heart and soul into the brand in the visuals,
to become a part of the brand and give the customers a face to trust, something that has a
direct impact on ecommerce conversions and reviews.
That same approach was carried across both video and photography, to create one cohesive
media librar
Testimonials
"As the designer, I spend a lot of time on details most people never notice. Together with COPP, we gave our own knobs and handles the attention they deserve and made sure the details we believe really matter are the ones people notice first."
